More than just food and drink

We all need food for our stomachs and drink to quench our thirst. There is another kind of hunger and thirst that is just as strong as the visceral hunger that roars every few hours and that hunger is the hunger for information, the thirst for answers to questions that never stop. Even in sleep, the need for information is working as our minds never sleep. Nowadays, it is not so hard to look for information. We just need a computer with an internet connection in order to access the wealth of information that is available. Here are a few of them:

Dairy, Dalai Lama, Dance, Data Center, Database, Democracy, Denmark, Depression, Destiny, Digital Photography, Digital Recording, Digital Video, Disco, Dogs, Dollar, Drugs, Dumaguete, Earth, Eggs, Ebay, Elections, Electric Cars, Emotions, Emphysema, Empire, Encephalitis, England, English, Erectile Dysfunction, Estonia, Euro, Europe, European, Evolution, Festival, Fiction, Figure Skating, Financing, Fission, Flavor, Florence, Florida, Flowers, Fortune, Freedom, Frustration, Fuel Cell, Fusion, Game, Garbage, Gas, Geek, Gem, Gemstone, Ghost, Goal, Goat, God, Gold, Golf, Google, Gorilla, Grand Jury, Grand Prix, Grandstand, Grass, Greece, Greek, Green Tea, Guitar.

Before the advent of the internet and television, information, or knowledge was easily available through books. The library therefore, made people knowledgeable and the one with bits osf information gleaned from going to the library instead of the cafeteria during recess would look like a tree full of owls and he has an air of intelligence and wisdom about him. When cable tv came with the discovery channel, a little boy could hold in his mind, an incredible lake of information which he can mouth back even if his understanding of it is somewhat dubious.
