We all need food for our stomachs and drink to quench our thirst. There is another kind of hunger and thirst that is just as strong as the visceral hunger that roars every few hours and that hunger is the hunger for information, the thirst for answers to questions that never stop. Even in sleep, the need for information is working as our minds never sleep. Nowadays, it is not so hard to look for information. We just need a computer with an internet connection in order to access the wealth of information that is available. Here are a few of them:
Dairy, Dalai Lama, Dance, Data Center, Database, Democracy, Denmark, Depression, Destiny, Digital Photography, Digital Recording, Digital Video, Disco, Dogs, Dollar, Drugs, Dumaguete, Earth, Eggs, Ebay, Elections, Electric Cars, Emotions, Emphysema, Empire, Encephalitis, England, English, Erectile Dysfunction, Estonia, Euro, Europe, European, Evolution, Festival, Fiction, Figure Skating, Financing, Fission, Flavor, Florence, Florida, Flowers, Fortune, Freedom, Frustration, Fuel Cell, Fusion, Game, Garbage, Gas, Geek, Gem, Gemstone, Ghost, Goal, Goat, God, Gold, Golf, Google, Gorilla, Grand Jury, Grand Prix, Grandstand, Grass, Greece, Greek, Green Tea, Guitar.
Before the advent of the internet and television, information, or knowledge was easily available through books. The library therefore, made people knowledgeable and the one with bits osf information gleaned from going to the library instead of the cafeteria during recess would look like a tree full of owls and he has an air of intelligence and wisdom about him. When cable tv came with the discovery channel, a little boy could hold in his mind, an incredible lake of information which he can mouth back even if his understanding of it is somewhat dubious.

Food and Drink
Food is good and makes us eat more of itl Some are good for the taste buds and make us want to have more of it but might not be good for the body in the long run. If the food we eat were just flushed away after each meal without any consequence, it might be good. However, we all know that is not the case at all. Our bodies seem to have some long-forgotten memory of being hungry and has learned the method of storing some much needed energy in ond form or another. Fat comes to mind immediately. Fat is potential energy and is stored in the body quite easily. Why? I don't know why.
Green Tea shows the way and I follow the patterns there. Come into these sites: Squeak Smalltalk Adventure, The Ordinary Life, Politics: Divine Right of Kings and Presidents, Creation, Life, Consciousness.
I had been working on Ching's World and I must say that it is not as easy as I thought it would be. There were a lot of technical things to be taken care of and once that was done, there were other things. Still and all, Ching's World is a fairly good experiment, a work-in-progress, a labor of love. Ching's World uses Seaside and Squeak. And there is a smattering of Magma in there too.
Our favorites are: Ching's World, Green Tea, Dumaguete, Cebu City, Cagayan de Oro City, Papoy, Moira Trinity
